If it makes you feel any better, Pete, the Mk.1 was like that.Bear in mind, though, that the View-Line pre-dated the Mk.2 so, having sorted it out on the View-Line you’d reasonably expect it to be sorted for the Mk.2

I read it in Truck and Driver many years ago so I knew it must have been correct… 
Some Fodens were like that as well.
