Tacho envelopes

Hi I as part of my work I drive a HGV lorry mounted loader for work but not all the time and I have to fill tacho envelopes but because I work away I get a guaranteed 10 1/2 hour shift but now and then it could be as little at 5 just wondering do I still have to write 10 1/2 because I’m getting paid for it ?

For EU tacho regs you only need to record what you have done

For work records you need to put in for your guaranteed hours

In the past companies have been closed down for drivers records not matching their bank accounts [emoji12]

A driver can be paid for every minute of the week but tacho records do not have to show that - that is the law
