Not with lorries anymore…Ron Morgan one of the sons of Charlie who started the business, is an old school friend, on the rare occasion I go back to the UK I drop in to see him, he runs the garage and fuel station with his wife Sue…having said that it was over three years ago that I last spoke to him, and he was thinking of packing it in.
The original business of scrap, second had lorries, export, and ex WW2 surplus i believe is nothing like it was in its heyday…if that side is still going that is, they emloyed a lot of people, and were at one time agents for M.A.N. and ROMAN lorries…
