Wrighty the old engine had half a valve crack off and it knackered the block but loose metal in an engine it dont take long to knacker it all up, I found out that as a 3060 it never should have had a turbo on it but at some point it had an after market kit fitted, the problem is the engine although a Perkins is native to only the 3060 and the 390 where the bell housing and block are one making them very scarce but my man located one in Inverness and £55 pallet got it down South, he worked all over weekend to get her done so pleased with him, we shall see how she fairs but its not worked every day just seasonal jobs, harrowing, rolling, topping and a bit of mowing, cheers Buzzer.
