I didn’t realise you all missed me so much so I don’t want this thread turning into one similar to the “We all love “H” thread” !!! However, yes The Boss and me have been 'awa in 30 degrees of blazing Sun for three weeks ! but I had to make a detour on the way back and drop into Downing St. yesterday to give Teresa some advice ! which she appreciated and acted on it ! Anyway back to business eh! what sort of lumber have some of you’s been getting into in my absence Cheers Dennis.

Glad to hear the sun on your back has been good, returned from a week myself yesterday and am counting my blessings and all that as the Aircraft encountered a shattered windscreen 2 hrs in at 39,000 feet , what a scary feeling and we were forced to fly at low altitude for 40 mins to divert into a Portugal airport where we remained for 9 hrs whilst a replacement 757 was flown over from uk with fresh crew (apologies for going off topic, )

I agree Dennis, a very interesting time ahead!!! I have always been a left leaning political supporter, but not always a dyed in the wool Labour voter, at local council elections I have voted for a liberal candidate acquaintance of mine who is a great local representative for the people, but this is a watershed for me. I am going to vote Tory for the first time ever!! This is not just for the Brexit issue, although it is a big factor, in my opinion Corbyn and his cronies need a wake up call, listen to all the people not just the unions that have you in their pockets and pull your strings. Well said there Kev !! although I’ve always been a Tory voter although that ■■■■■■ Farron is our local MP now and TBH I have never reckoned much to any politicians just some are worse than others but this time I truly believe that Mother Theresa is doing a decent job and her opponents are just ■■■■■■■ Pigmy’s and that ■■■■ Corbyn is going to get his just deserts during this election no danger Mate. So I am suitably impressed with your analysis Kev and you will be one '000’s who are being realistic. I did follow the fortunes of UKIP for a while as I think Nigel is a great bloke but IMHO they have shot their bolt now we have Brexit so it’s back to the main operators i.e. Tories who are the only game in town right now. Well that’s my take on it but no doubt others will hold the opposite opinion ! Well they can’t always be on the winning side eh! Cheers Dennis.

Hi Kev, There are two words that start with the letter C Corbyn & ■■■■ & I most defo prefer that last one, I have thrived on it for years the same as you, Regards Larry.

Interesting posts. Just wonder if the long lead in time is a good idea. St. Tim will try to persuade all remainers to vote for the only party outwardly supporting it, although many Labour & Cons do too, behind their hands. Maybe win him some seats Devon & Cornwall?

Think that UKIP has actually achieved its goal, so many will be back to Conservative or Labour, particularly without the charismatic Nigel.

I hope that Mother Theresa has the right mix. Not as annoying to the left as Maggie, but strong enough!

I’ve always been a socialist, although never voting Labour (except when Harold was about!) but I have to admit that now Osborne and Cameron have gone Mother T has been doing a reasonable job. For a Tory! And I can’t imagine there is anyone else that I would trust my country with.
