4 aircraft engines (GR4 tornado) at a supposed half a million a piece!

Thought to they’d be worth more than that, carried engines for the KC135 tanker and they told us they were worth over $5m a piece, only carried one at a time though.

Even the prop for a Hercules was supposed to be $600k at least that what we were told when a forklift driver dropped one when unloading it.

Yes you could be right, that’s why I said supposed as it was a while ago and my memory of the value may have been wrong. Maybe it was a million a piece that I was told.

You could very well be correct the first time round. Out of time jet engines (needing rebuilds) are only of use to tech colleges for teaching or for other ground use and worth very little compared to a low time or newly rebuilt engine certified to go back into an aircraft.
Our loads are agg (polished stone) and easily disposed of if stolen, some in 1t bulk or palletised up in 25kg bags, not cheap but…doubt many t leafs would bother though…

These were brand new so I believe.
