Does anyone know the tare of a 20 refrigerated container ,Iam thinking 3 tonne ? Looks like either the steel doors are missing or the fridge unit is at the front end ,not sure tbh ,any ideas ? Got to lift 2 on next week thanks .
Say at least 3 ton Dan as they get heavier the older they get and obviously check out if they’ve been fitted out with racking or any other crap internally.
Thankyou both ,looking at where they are and how long they have been sat I think I’ll leave it for someone else to do .
I would have lost money on a wager with that. I would have said closer to 4 tonne, they obviously have the same internals as a dry freight box but with more insulation and a fridge unit.
