Not had too many Barneys with the boss, a few where he’s taken the pish and I’ve told him so.
It’s usually the customers I have the Barneys with, I won’t tolerate bs from customers.
I’ve driven away from many places without doing the job because they have either been awkward or just nasty.
Got one bloke fired once after I asked him politely if he could move his van as it was where I needed to unload. He suffered verbal diarrhoea and told me to foxtrot, so I went to see his boss who I was half friendly with and told him I was leaving without doing the job as his bloke wouldn’t move the van and has given me a load of abuse for no reason.
Needless to say the van got moved and the bloke was never seen again.
