Passsed class 2 last week at Walton test centre,(nr Leeds) To do my class 1 there id have a 6 week wait for training and test,Stirling advised me,
But they have a cancelation for next week,but its in flippin Wolverhampton!!
Rather than wait the 6 week,i opted to take the cancelation,Its a long way from home,
Do they drive on the sameside of the road as us “Tykes”,
Does anybody Know of any problem areas on the Test routes ,round there!!
Any help would be much, appreciated,

Yes we drive on the same side of the road as you Tykes.
The only real ball ache of a test route in my opinion is if they take you on the route with the ‘Silly Isles’.
You will most probably be taken around there on your training.

The only thing I know about Wolverhampton is that they sometimes try and catch you on Weight Restrictions. If you are told “take the next available…”, then the first is likely to have a restriction.

Stuff that. Phone up Tockwith who also use Walton. Same price you pay @ Sterling and these give you 1 - 2 - 1.
Do not try to learn new roads. There are only 3 test routes @ Walton in the artic and they are all pretty good apart from one.
I guarantee they will have you in faster than 6 weeks. They block book. (i.e. book 10 tests a week as they know they will use them all).

Us Wolverhampton people are quite friendly so no need to worry about that.
We are only hostile when some local or out of towner comes the ‘BIG I AM’ gob sh#te.
Then again isn’t it like that in any city \ town?

Well there is good and bad news, i had never been to Wolverhapton but i took my test there last week, unfortunately i failed, and i had a real sexist examiner who made sexist comments to me during my test, but i re took my test 2 days ago with a different examiner and passed.
The routes are actually really easy, they are really strict on gears and smooth braking, they can try and send you down restricted routes, i didnt have that but i have heard from others that it happened to them.
As long as you are smooth make progress and get to road speed swiftly when circumstances allow, and on the gear exercise spend a little time in the gear (chap before me failed for changing gear to quickly) then you should be ok.
The examiners except for the sexist one are good, fun will talk to you and are fair!
