What a noise

I stopped for my duty break in strensham today at around half 1, was cleaning my cab when i heard this almighty roar coming through the truck park, it was a bright red high cab scania, full catwalk, chrome wheels, side exit exhaust, awesome air brushing all over.

makes me want to become an owner driver, then i think of the costs involved, but what a sound on the V8 especially through those exhausts. i did try to get a photo but he had gone.

If its Dutch registered I think I saw it last week nr the dartford crossing.

Made me open my window to listen as it overtook me. Sounded awesome.

nope this was british cant remember what was on the side if i saw it again i would recognise it though

i’ve said for years it’s the only thing volvo don’t have over scania - that great V8 burble

could be scott trawlers they have a couple of nice v8s with side pipes and all the trimmings
