Did anyone else see the car transporter on fire on the M6 South between Cov and Rugby yesterday? Twas a DAF CF and it was completely gutted. Luckily it only had two cars on and I don’t think they were damaged. I was almost at the front of the queue of traffic so handy for when the road reopened! Hoping the driver got out ok.

Fraid not mr Buck. It was completely ablaze by time I saw it. It wasn’t a drawbar outfit, just a tractor with car transporter trailer. It had a couple of oldish cars on it.

Heres the one that went up last night on the M2, one of ours, Vehicle Movements.
Upshot is, driver ok and 7 limited edition Subarus and one truck totalled.

here is a question if your truck caught fire would you pull the pin(maybe saving either trailer or unit) or just runaway in the opposite direction
Pull the pin if I could or in the above case run away as its a drawbar.
