Thing is there’s many a UK company doing the same over there.
I agree though it should be go out do the job , pick up a return load or pick up a load to tip on route back but that would leave you with the last leg of your home trip MT.
What I dont agree is when a company drops their trailer for a few days in a lay-by ( happens by me ) and are doing what ■■?

How will this be regulated?
