Has anyone any idea what rates TDG are paying on the RoRo work out of Liverpool? I know the irish side is all rates instead of paying by the mile, and no such thing as empty running money!!! You get the rate for your delivery and if your collecting 50 miles away you stil just get the collection rate, the diesel you burn in between is your problem!! 
Any one out there work for them??
‘ando’, I used to do a little work for IWT out of Liverpool and a friend of mine did some for TDG, I think they insisted on 44 tonners and I only ever ran 4 wheel units so never enquired about their rates.
I’ll be seeing him this Tuesday and will ask how they structure their rates, he might not want to be specific on actual amounts but I should find out if it’s a mileage or job by job rate.
