Have you tried Peter Gilder importers?
scania are putting 50 of those griffins in their hire fleet, it will probably be cheaper to have one on permanent hire!

I got my last one from Pete McGowan at Wellingbro.
Spoke to him yesterday and he told me, if I ordered one now it would be Sept 08 before I got it! He said the Ruskies, China and the Eastern Block were buying them quicker than the factory can make them!
Should put the second hand prices up. . .
The other problem is scania dont and have never liked owner drivers especially when it comes to discount
Not really an issue if you look at the new prices of other makes
Eg Scania £70k - Volvo - £125k
I read recently that daf and volvo also have long lead times,
Daf was for a XF105 was 63 weeks 
and
Volvo for FM and FH was 52 weeks
Not sure how true it is but it seems every manufacturer seems to be selling faster than thay can build them!!!
