thats what happend last time this shower were in. However there were only 2 other real contenders. Those that would of voted labour wouldnt vote tory so voted lib dem in a desperate bid to get rid of brown. The red wall was still there… (btw even they voted for boris in 2019) Anyone with a brain cell can see that labour have screwed this country and its voters and completely ignored the will of the people.
The second thing is we now have reform. Before they were an unknown with no political experience on a large scale. now they have got some by running the councils and having seats in the house people will see the good they have done.
third thing is reform in the 2024 election came second or third in the vast majority of constituencies. I know labour are desperately trying to rig the vote by getting as many illegals in and settled as possible and lowering the voting age to 16 and pumping their minds full of crap in school. (you should hear the woke crap my friends 12 yr old daughter comes out with) However most see through it
Go put your pension money on Reeves been long gone by then.
False promises
Talking of realism! The Homelessness minister no less, milking the current rental legislation before the Renter’s Reform bill becomes law, totally at odds with what Liebour are attempting to do by keeping rents down. Says she put the house up for sale and it didn’t sell, over inflated price maybe. Morraly repugnant. One just could not make it up.
I agree that looks a morally repugnant act. Legal (currently) but wrong.
If they hadn’t made so much about keeping taxes low they probably would not have been elected. For myself I would have voted for a party that would have said straight up “It is all a mess. It will get worse before it gets better, and so taxes will rise”.
But, that is not a vote winner. So long as many politicians and most of the media push the insane idea that we can have lower taxes and not suffer worse, education, health etc etc, and so long as many voters believe such nonsense….well…here we are.
if they didnt import 25,000+ illegals in the first 7 months of this year. if they didnt give over a billion to france. if they didnt screw the farmers and the pensioners. if they didnt waste god knows how many billions supporting 2 terrorist organisations. if they didnt crash the economy. i they didnt spend 100’s of millions on dei woke crap that no one wants. They might have an excuse for raising taxes. the reason they raised taxes was because they were 20 billion short in their plan to screw us over
new woke term for the lefties to use instead of irregulars. hundereds of thousands of long term uk residents that happened to arrive undocumented through no fault of their own,
come on franglais i recon it will catch on if you spread it amongst your pals
yvette cooper was talking about it…she said she didnt know any of the facts but all the rules were stuck to. a comment worthy of some on here its so stupid.
Depending on the exact details, that is an option to be considered IMHO. Not breaking the law but maybe not Ministerial material, and definitely not anything to do with housing.
See above.
And since Johnson had actually broken a law,
that he had made,
and he had told everyone else they should obey it,
I think there are significant differences.
Why was I on about Johnson for weeks? Because he was denying it, and lying about it for weeks.
So the ‘‘Minister for homlessness’ (or whatever) kicks out her tenants essentially rendering them homeless, to pocket more cash in a hike of a rent increase,…. and all Franglais our usually n’er do wrong paragon of virtue who usually would not condone this sort of stuff, and who criticises and condemns anybody in the public eye that does,……Our own chief TN political critique no less says….
Then implies justification by telling us it’s legal.
She should resign….just as you would bust your gut to say if she was a Tory…..especially if it was your own personal pariah Boris J.
Are you adapting your own personal 2 tier system to keep in line with your political masters?
Stirling job.
This case is like me being in charge of the RSPCA and caught kicking the sh out of my dog.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again mate…..you are a effin joke.
Nope. The original fixed term lease came to an end. At that point the tenants had no legal right to stay on. The tenants were offered the chance to stay on, on a short term lease, but they chose to go elsewhere.
Are you reading the part of the outraged pantomime dame again? No one was “kicked out”.
I note you think she should resign for doing something that is not illegal, but defended your hero even though he actually broke a law. He broke his own law and you said he should stay on.
Err yeah,. quite possibly so….especially as I have taken a leaf out of your book, for picking up on and criticising every misdrneanour by a govt in power, a totally incompetent one to boot.
So look upon it as complimentary emulation rather than an opportunity for ridicule, as when it comes to ‘outraged pantomime dames’ you are the master, I am a mere beginner in comparison
Except of course…the property was put on the market.
And to repeat the tenants were indeed offered the chance to stay on, albeit on a short term not a long term lease, because the property was on the market.
Being told you can stay is not my definition of “being kicked out”. If they were asked to leave at the end of their the contracted tenancy is not my definition of “being kicked out” either.
Yep.
She should consider resignation. Starmer should consider sacking her. I don’t know enough detail to say for definite how that should go.
I do know that Johnson broke a law. Accepted his guilt by paying a Police fine. And did nothing but whinge and whine about it, refusing to resign at that stage.
I stand by my comments that he should definitely should have resigned,. because he did break a law, his own law.
no they were told that their lease wasnt going to be renewed and were offered a four week short term lease so they could sort out somewhere to go… some choice.
Was the house on the market for a minimum of 6 months as per the new rules that she instigated nope. as soon as she got them out it went back on the market at the higher rate.
the woman is a snake like all her labour mates do as i say not as i do attitude.
