Here’s one for drivers looking for a quiet place in Swansea.
Close to the M4 and with great fascilities.
How’d you like to wake up on a small lane surrounded by lovely old oak trees and bird song ? And then only a short walk away having the fascilities of a big shopping estate providing you with toilets and a cafe (Tesco Extra) ? Doesn’t sound too bad does it ? Oh, and if you do need to top up on work clothes, boots or ppe you’ve got Blyth right next to you as well. And there’s even a small cafe 5 mins walk up the road as well. As for a shower you’ve got the Swansea West services right where you join/leave the M4.

Roundabout, turn left.
Traffic lights, turn right. B4620, Fford Cynore / Ystrad Road.
Traffic lights, straight over.
2nd road on left side, Kings Way.
2nd small lane on left, Abergelli Road.
Follow signs to Blyth’s.
At left corner of Abergelli Road there is a small blue sign for Blyths.
Small cafe is up Kingsway. Even a chocolate factory too !
Shopping centre with Tesco, Pizza place etc is back at the last traffic lights, you will have passed Tesco garage there.
The route in from the dual carriage way may say no heavy traffic, but you can go in there. It is to avoid hgv’s on residental area further up Ystrad Road.
Truckwash is available at our Owens yard in Llangennech.
Next jct west on M4, jct 48.
Left on slip road.
Traffic lights, turn left.
Owens yard 2 mins down the road on left side, just after sports ground.
When you park up in this lovely small ind est. Please do not leave any litter after you. If this place starts getting trashed by overnight truckers it will be closed for HGV’s as so many other places has been. Please keep it tidy guys !
