Since the introduction of the various restrictions for goods vehicles going in to London the price of getting pallets delivered there has increased.
For instance to send a pallet from Southend to Stoke-on-Trent (about 100 odd miles) is £34 but to send a similar pallet to London (about 35 miles) is £46.
We cannot even take it in with our own vehicle as we would be charged £200 (what do we pay the Road Fund Licence for? just for the privalage of owning a vehicle).
Let them go without…they can have their clean streets, clean air, and no food!
