New Procedure at Weil am Rhein from May 1st

As of May 1st, all vehicles that have loaded, and that are exiting Switzerland via the Weil am Rhein Border, will be subject to a check of the Load Manifest and relevant paperwork, before clearance can start.

Up until now, it had been known for clearance to have taken place before the Truck has even reached the Border, so you could just walk in, grab your paperwork from the Agent, and away you go!.

It has been said that at Peak Times, Clearance on the WaR Border could now take upto 12 Hours!

At least the parking area is a bit more “cosy” there and would be gridlocked if you got 5 trucks arrive together :stuck_out_tongue:
