Medical before practical

I am waiting for my licence to come back with HGV provisional on it to come through from the DVLA, after sending them my medical report etc…Now i am wondering how long this medical can last before i need to, at least, start my training or is there no limit?

Age 45 is you next one or if you took it near to or over this age then 5 years from when you took it provided you get your provisional licence - otherwise it lasts for 3 months.

It’s the theory that has a 2 year limit.
