M25 j23-25 closed

The M25 J23-25 is closed and not expected to reopen until possibly 1200 midday.

Seen that on the matrix signs this morning what’s the reason for it?

Also it was flashing that the M62 exit 12 was closed this was south on the M5 :open_mouth:

overturned car transporter apparently.

Went past this last night at 23.00 coming other way overturned car transporter straddling all three lanes back at j 24 were turning all the cars around and taking off motorway , my heart stopped when saw it but i hope to god the driver is okay no screens up as I went past so i hope this means he was okay !!

Hope drivers ok. Another car transporter over, geting a bit of a habit,Thay always seem to be chasing these days. You didnt see them rushing in tolmans days .we come across them in purfleet docks a fair bit never want to wait or que the dockers dont seem to have a nice word to say about them.

A driver who was stuck near to the front of the queue asked plod at the scene and was told that the transporter driver appeared to have had a fatal heart attack, causing the rollover - if that’s the case, condolences to the family.

Mate of mine “detoured” around this on the North circular.
Came across another “transporter” having to offload his vans in order to get under a low bridge :exclamation:

Hmmm, I glimpsed it going anti-clock at 22.50-ish - but was determined not to gawp at such evident distress.

Christ Jen…hope you wasn’t coming back from Darlaston, thats a lonnnnnnnng way out!! HA are saying it will re-open @ 4ish. Obviously a fatal needs to be investigated but it seems a long time to clear up if they know the reason why the driver died (hopefully he is ok) but maybe ‘some loony ■■■■ in a car’ was to blame…who knows. It was a transporter on fire y’day evening that was causing the problems around M1/A45 area.

Nightmare this morning coming round the north circular plus the added effect of rush hour. Driver obviously died as my HA app says due to open at 1600 pending a police investigation.

Has anyone ever had a heart attack? I ask because I’ve herd stories of drivers getting over to the hard shoulder before hand so can u feel it coming? Unless he’s blacked out at the wheel :open_mouth:

Some who have suffered heart attacks always think its heartburn or bad indigestion so mabe thought he was okay if its your time theres nothing you can do about it , my heart goes out to his family .

After spending over five hours, turning traffic around and escorting back to J24,not one truck driver complained about being stuck for that length of time,99% of all truck drivers, done what was asked of them by waiting and turning when asked to do so.Apart from the small few at the front of queue near the scene that decided to do their own thing once Police had left turning traffic to HATO. I must say that the standard of the UK drivers to the East Europeans is far superior from what I saw last night. At one point I was going to ask a UK driver to turn a Polish registered Scania as it was taking so long.
Thanks to all the drivers for their patience and understanding and condolences to the driver’s family.

My transport planner phoned me up telling me not to go any where near the north circular as it was chaos. Sounds like an eventful and unfortunate night.

The dad in law was walking thru a casino on holiday when his heart just stopped! Next thing he knew he was in hospital.
He has no memory of the incident but luckily there was a first aider nearby with a set of jump leads.

I suffered mine while on the A405 near St Albans four years ago this coming May. Felt lightheaded, hot and sweaty, and had a dull ache in the centre of my chest. Ten minutes later I was in the throes of a severe heart attack and felt as if a twenty stone person was balancing on the heel of one foot on my chest. Never had pain like it. Phoned the paramedics myself and ended up in Harefield Heart Hospital 50 minutes later. Had four stents fitted that saved my life. Triple bypass operation three moths later and now I’m right as rain…and still driving.
