A bridge job on the M1 between J25 & J26 will close the M1 both ways this weekend from 9pm on the 17th to 9am (or longer if needed 
) on the 18th.
There is probably a link to this somewhere but I cannot find one at present - HATOs please help - but it has been on the local radio news this week.

M1 Closure 17th Jan - 18th Jan 09
The M1 will be closed in both directions from 9pm on Saturday, 17 January to 9am on Sunday 18 January 2009, between Junction 26 (Nuthall) and Junction 25 (Derby-Nottingham).
Please allow extra time for your journey. There will be a signed local diversion (A610 Nuthall Road -A6514 Nottingham Ring Road-A52 Brian Clough Way).
Travellers travelling from Yorkshire or north Nottinghamshire should leave the motorway at Junction 28 (Alfreton), use the A38, A50 and then A453 to the airport.
