May have a chance of a job transporting livestock around the south east and would like to go to the interview with some general knowledge of the rules and regs,could anybody point me in the right directions of websites or give me some first hand knowledge? Thanks in advance.

Strangely for a gov’t website the DEFRA (or whatever it’s called this month) is quite helpfull.

Have you got experience of handling livestock ?
If you’re going more that 65km you will need a certificate of competence, but the people employing you should know that and may be able to arrange it ( NPTC and Lantra do those )
What sort of livestock are you talking about ?
