IMHP.Examiners have targets like so many others,so lots of reasonably competent drivers are being kept off of our roads and out of the industry.

And you have proof of that? No of course you don’t because its an urban myth…

I had a feeling it was but waited for you

Having spoken to at least 10 instructors I am reasonably certain of what I have said There was a case in Edinburgh of an examiner being SACKED for having a high pass rate. The story was covered in the DAILY MAIL We all know that proof would be impossible to come by but its your money spend it as you wish.,read the posts on here make your own mind up…

Following a quick ‘google’ I would suggest the opposite is true:

Sounds like a pile of dung. :unamused:

Thinking about this and me, I failed 4 times, each failure was down to me. Nobody else was at fault, just me being an arse and nervous.

my local one at patrick green could do with a better rate, although the examiner phil is a really good examiner and makes you feel right at ease.

i think if i was doing my test i would be thinking about a 2 week holiday in lerwick or stornaway.

im not joking either.

Makes me feel quite proud passing first time @ Wrexham. Lowest of them all :open_mouth:

Look up STEVE MURRAYon the home page of this site or DOUBLE STANDARDS AGENCY.Havent found out how to do links yet.

Was I lucky or am I just good

Hi all,
I’m new to this forum, but had to post a reply to this thread.
I’m an LGV/PCV instructor,on the DSA Vol Reg,and have been using the same test centre for the last 12 years.
In that time, two chief examiners(LGV) and two car examiners who I trained for LGV all confirmed that if their pass rate goes over or under the centre average by 5% for male or female candidates then they start getting regular checks from their managers and the quality control team.
I suppose in that situation we would all make sure we hit the happy medium…anything for an easy life!!!

Steve

10% for B tests--------------------or was. Mind you it is coming up to Christmas and they need the overtime. Also the number of candidates I believe has fallen for all tests. The DSA do love the Grey area.

The new axis of evil at Nottingham must be paid for somehow :smiling_imp:

Sorry about the misleading info on that post. Help Rog.

Can you split my bit at the bottom as not to imply Steve wrote it.

Cheers Chip. :open_mouth:
