Hiya does any1 know of any italean companys that still take on english drivers i used to do a lot of trips for the uk but every where i go seem now companys from the UK dont do it any more.

Their country of choice is Slovakia. (Check out Arcese. All on Bratislava plates these days)

It seems to be quite a rare occurance now to see an Italian registered truck with an Italian registered trailer, and even when you do, personalised name plates in the windscreen would suggest anything other than an Italian driver.

goes for this country,i have a very good friend who is a Lorry Driver
from Poland and he agrees 100% with what everyone is saying about
the state we are all in and why.Now he comes over here Tips into
Tilbury Docks reloads (from the Clearing Houses) to say Midlands then
relods from there to Manchester and keeps doing this until his load
home is ready,now,what he tells me is that for every 5 Polish lorrys
come over here 4 are doing the same thing.Thats why this Country
has no money cos its being taken out of here,its the same with the
Thousands and Thousands of east europeans who are doing our jobs
are sending the money out back home you aint got to be a Brain
Surgeon to work that one out.According to my mate out there we
are not just the Laughing stock amongst drivers but also with the
Polish Polititions with all that money coming into there Country.You
have to laugh i suppose realy,its my Grandchildren im worried about

they could start by charging for the roads like belg and holland just a daily vinginette 8 euros a day in holland and belg i have to pay in all europe
the country is knackerd and will never get back on its feet,
(low wage hi cost) means no spending excoept for bills and that wont make
a recovery happen
