Theres a post somewhere showing a grpah of their shares over the last year, it dont look good, if I was a stobart spotter i would be digging out some rope or a length of hose pipe.

These are the accounts filed for 24/11/2010 companycheck.co.uk/company/00995045 i am no financial expert but when the liabilities are more than the assets it does not look too healthy, also cash in the bank on a huge downward curve i doubt things have improved much over the last year or so.

All it needs is a few late account paying clients and it could get nasty.

yeah it was the gearing that set my sensors twitching

£19k in the bank

19k where would they stand with the traffic commissioner that’s only about enough for four motors.

For sale, a mullock of white lorries with red stripy bumpers!

No reasonable offer refused

I very much doubt they will go pop.

Blueiain:
Fowler welch

yep Blueiain is probably right

I doubt it will go pop as such but you could see it been broken up.

I think it is already broken up and the reverse takeover will be like a maze to untangle!

I hope they don’t go “pop”. It’ll be a lot of people facing a future of uncertainty. Well, that is until the next company comes along offering low rates and poor T&Cs.

as long as there is a fan club stoby will nerver go bop

Sooner rather than later, a return to the small haulier who would do the work and employ local people and pay a living wage, we live in hope do we not!!

Unfortunately it wouldnt happen like that, it would be another multinational who would control even more work, someone like Norbert, DHL or Wincanton with their own brand or franchise.

I live in the same hope as you but I also live in the real world :frowning:
