Stobart in trouble?

I heard that an internal investigation into Stobarts’ accounting procedures has discovered “financial irregularities”, leading to a suspension of share trading. Does this come as a surprise to anyone, and is it the beginning of the end?

I don’t think anyone will be surprised by this news, as it was raised (and discussed) here yesterday…

Reading between the lines somebody has had their hand in the till.
I’m most likely wrong…it’s just that I’m a grumpy old cynic.

Like many others - not surprised but surprised they have lasted this long.
Go back to the 60s and think of all the big plc transport company’s that have fallen by the wayside,

Hilton transport, Renwick, Kammac but to name a small number.

Highly likely XPO will make a bid - they are hungry for growth and plenty of American cash

Interestingly the biggest looser here could be Tesco as they control a large portion of their distribution.

Watch and see - interesting times
