I was lucky my instructor was A1, he had a good current background in driving commercially, my training was 1 2 1 & thus we had time to look at things other than driving, we also used tacho’s on one or two days so that he could check I was doing things correctly.
Regarding tacko law and all, my instucter is awair that I have driven 7.5 ton for a long time.
Loading and securing loads,the people I work with have been very supportive there.
Part of the class 1 and 2 test now incudes a collection of questions,my instucter has provided all q&as.
Extra training,yes please
