Hi all newbie here first post.
I have only passed my medical and have my theory test in 2 weeks time so I’m right at the start of the journey, then on with the practical.
I just have a couple of questions from reading the forums I see a few people struggling with loading and unloading HGVs and also with tachographs.
I want to know if with your training practical really whether they show you how to load a HGV correctly and also show you the basics on how a tachograph works?
If not when/if you pass are you just left to your own devices or does your new employer give you a crash course if your inexperienced?
Does anyone recommend using a phone app to keep a log of your working hours and rest? To run along side your tachograph?
