Jus this minute heard a snip on Radio 4 about a campaign to allow longer semi trailers to increase productivity.They plan to carry 30 pallets instead of 26.
It was stated that a longer semi trailer would still be shorter overall than a road train.
Of course there was the usual anti truck brigade jumping in with the comment,“Longer trucks will kill more people!”.
If they are members of the anti truck brigade,I ■■■■■■■ hope so!
