As a hgv driver how useful is it to have a forktruck license?
Having been down Spitalfields all this week the vast majority of the drivers had their licence and were using forklifts . Is this unusual ?

yes it is but many get the companies they work for to sort it for them
Thanks for coming back so quick . At the moment I have my class c booked feb 9th and I’ve now booked my forklift license for the week before as although I have now started work my view is if it benefits me with what I have to offer employers then it must be good . Also i passed my forklift license over 20 years ago so not only is not rittb recognised but not having used one for 11 years I need a refresher and a full recognised course gives me a current valid certificate and it shouldn’t be too stressful 
You need a licence from Spitalfields in addition to a normal one to use a FLT there.
