Got a copy from amazon ,arrived today .
Really is an excellent read , great info even including the different types of gear arangements , digi and analogue info (how to use the different types of digi etc) ,info on tail lifts , curtainsiders etc
More info than you can shake a stick at in fact
Definatly worth the £9.46 it cost , Full price is £14.99 btw
cheers Mike
Sorry to hyjack your thread but I also have a book to recommend, its called:
The Official DSA Guide to Driving Goods Vehicles
and covers every aspect of truck driving and also covers the tests and exactly whats involved including the Driver CPC.
I just thought this may be a better buy IMO as its direct from the DSA so ‘should’ be 100% accurate
it too is available from amazon and priced at £10.22
No problem with the hijack I too have that book and found it invaluable prior/during training .
The truckers handbook does go into more detail ,about the things you need to know after you have passed your test .
Afterall that is when the real learning starts
cheers mike
I can second that very dog eared copy of truckers handbook I have now !!!

Yep both those books are excellent, the Truckers handbook is a great guide and well worth thumbing through occasionally!
