contracts

if the contract your on was taken over by another haulier can the they change you to there terms and conditions, would they have to give you notice, would you have to agree to it or can you say id rather stay on my previous terms and conditions as there better, or could they force you. ta

I think under the tupe agreement, you have to stay on your terms and conditions, for how long i dont know?

I believe its 365 days folks but the ACAS website is good for that kind of up to date info.

t’s times like this when £2.50 a week union dues doesn’t seem like bad value…or you can always hire your own employment lawyer to advise you. Acas is worth a call. Good luck.

They have to either keep you on your original contract and transfer you under TUPE, or i believe they can off to “buy” your contract off of you if you want to .

AFAIK they cant just come in and change everything they want to suit them.
