Ipassed my class 2 in August and now work for a national muti drop refrigerated food company.
my plan has always been to go tramping with nights away in Europe, can anyone tell methe best copmanies to aproach, or am I better off getting my class 1 first?

Try to look for companies which are not haulage firms, but some factories delivering their own stuff. I’ve been doing that in UK for a while.
They usually pay better as well, and you got plenty of empty runs on the way back
