Astrans Roy Day

Fellow Astran drivers I have been informed by John Bruce that another pioneer of the ME trail Roysten Henry Day has passed away he will be sadley missed by all who knew him R.I.P

You made your mark on the Middle East Roy,time to park up now mate,God bless.
RIP

Well that another good man gone god bless roy R.I.P keep trucking in the sky you wil be missed

I am very sad to here of Roy’s passing, as I always found him to be very helpful and great company. The last time we met was at Zahko border in Iraq. He told me about his little game with the turkish tanker drivers in southern Turkey. He said, you know how the turkish drivers feel duty bound to return your wave, I said Yes. He Said, now then look out for the old bonneted Bussings the ones where they have about half a turn of free play on the steering wheel. when you see one coming towards you attract his attention, give him a big wave and watch the look of horror come over his face as he takes one hand off the steering wheel and waves back, before running off the road and into the field.
God Bless and Rest in Peace Royston.
Regards Jamie.
