All over till next year

the 50 mile stretch of road works on the A4 in belgium between namur and luxembourg has just about finished now, with what looks to be a couple of very minor patches required to the carriageway being used for the 2 way stretch i think we can rest assured that all will be back to normal until spring time next year.
all in all i have to say that it hasn’t been as bad as i expected it to be, especially during the summer wobble box season although i did take refuge on the national 4 on a few occassions that proved that there is no real difference in the mileage/fuel consumption or time when running the national 4 or the A4 at 70kph for 50 miles.
role on next year for more joyous revelations in road building belgian style.

That’s good!

When they finish the scary bits between Liege, Archen, Koln, Frankfurt I’ll be a lot happier! In the dark, when its raining, those roadworks can be challenging. I’ve also been through in a car a couple of times — no way would I overtake a truck when its that tight!
