£6 a pint FFS!

Just got in from a cracking night out at the theatre, watching Ken Dodd, very good night but got charged £6 for a pint of Carlsberg :open_mouth: How can they justify this? Nipped across the pub in the interval, not paying that again.

I phoned up for a job at the
Manchester Evening news Arena

Last week as they were looking for bar staff,

I could do with extra money (sprinter driving doesnt pay as much as class 1 )

They offered me £5.75 p/h working 8pm-12pm

i though i might off got £7 ph for working over christmas nights,
pouring 100,s of pints a hour. :unamused:
Especially at £6 per pint

The rich get richer … springs to mind

no wonder the supermarkets are killing the pubs of 500ml tins x 15 -3 boxes for 20 quid just make sure the missus has a big enough hand bag. :laughing:

Hi bugcos, quite right mate, cos I’d also be annoyed at having to dig around for coins when doing something as important as drinking beer.

Are you still supposed to order your drinks for the interval before the show starts?
