Another night out, another pint in London

But, after the previous eye bleedingly expensive £6.60 for a pint, I retired to a Wetherspoons tonight. A pint of Ale, £2.19… :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Unfingbelievable. £2.19.

So I might have a cheeky second one, before retiring to bed :grimacing: .

i would go for a third or fourth just to make sure they had not made a mistake .

If you’re a member of CAMRA, you’ll get coupons through the post for another 30p or so off that on some beers!

Ruddles ale was £1 a pint up to a few months ago, now sitting at £1.50.
(So I’m told anyway whilst I sit in my lay by, I ain’t one of the ‘‘cool gang’’ as somebody on here said the other day.)

Btw…Where tf do you park in London these days,.Ithought the days of parking in London then going out for a pint were long gone.
On second thoughts don’t make it known,.otherwise next time you go you won’t get parked.

There’s still places to park in London, but most are a bit of the beaten track, so unless you’re tipping or collecting nearby, not really realistic.
As for divulging where they are, as you well know, that is a strictly “invitation only” matter. I’ve only seen one other truck where I park. Once.

I don’t want this ruined by the scum brigade. Unfortunately as a member of the exclusive members only club of this parish, I can’t communicate via the common PM system.

I’ll have a pint for you next time I’m down… :grimacing:

Try having a wife with coeliac, £5 for a bottle of gluten free peroni, where ever you go , then there’s the £2.90 for a loaf of bread with about 10 slices in it , hobnob biscuits at £2.50 with 8/10 biscuits in it
