Reading this got me confused. I got my provisional licence back in August. I have grandfather rights so I just did 5 days of online training for the CPC. Been waiting all this time since my November theory pass to get a slot for the lessons and tests. Class 1 and 2 back to back. Do I need to get a new provisional licence reflecting this new DVLA policy?
On my licence I have dates for all cats except C, D, CE, DE which have a line through it. My CPC card says C1, C, C1E and CE.You need to send the email. This one.
trucknetuk.com/phpBB/viewto … 5&t=170538Is there a reason you’re doing class 1 and 2 back to back? The new system is class 1 which you can do direct now entitles you to class 2. Only worth doing class 2 as an intermediary stepping stone if you like.

Some training companies won’t let you go class 1 straight away?
There’s a big backlog with other companies and to get on a test can take up to 6 months maybe more?
