Not problem at all with fact it was suspended, correct thing to do, but fact only now, 6 months after I applied for it to be reinstated have they asked my doctor for information is utterly infuriating.Well, condolences there, DVLA are a nightmare to deal with at the moment, it took me six months to renew my HGV licence last year because of a very minor issue with blood pressure and which was only resolved when my GP (who is superb) involved a cardiologist and both put enormous pressure on them to renew my licence. I actually got £250 compensation out of DVLA for their failings.
Fortunately most of this went on at the time of year when I go boating anyway so it could have been a lot worse.
Thank you. I don’t know wether it makes it better or worse but I’ve been inundated with comments and messages of people being shafted by the DVLA. They need to be torn apart and rebuilt from scratch.
