If it’s new kit being delivered I would say taking a new pass on might be risky for an employer. Having any damage in transit would be much grief for the firm.
Get some experience though in what you can find going and you will be improving your chances considerably.
+1 I would definitely think moderation of expectations would be required. But fantastic news on the pass, and just get the experience in, with your goal in the future.
