Warning ! TMS Group

Neverstress:
Sorry to bring up an old topic but thought we’d better keep aaaaaall their different names in the same thread.
They are now also called Euro Haul,Subhaul and Sub Haul GMBH.Yep,that last one is registered in Germany !
They’re now accepting 12 points on the license, how on earth do they get those drivers insured ?,and offering £5 towards the drivers phone bills every month as it’s not worth it for them to take out a contract for their new company name every two weeks…
Just heard this from a new colleague of mine that is still chasing his outstanding pay from 5 months ago.
Anyone being offered a container job with £500 starter bonus in Thurrock area from a company no-ones heard of,best look out for yourself

Could you not just take the money and run? Or is the starter bonus as mythical as the wages?

Don’t think I’d want to work for a company that accepts people with 12 points. Come to think of it, not sure I’d want to work for a compay that accepts me!

Who owns and operates the trucks they are using?

Looks like they’re now advertising as Sub Haul Rochdale, again on Indeed :imp:

Yes i spotted that

That ad should should be seen straight through, no insurance company on a fleet policy would allow 12 points…

The only names I can find record of are Road Team Network, has a facebook page and a listing on companycheck.co.uk but no listing on Companies House, either current or dissolved and S G Movements Limited which is a dissolved company as of January this year. It used to hold a Standard International O-License for two sites in Southampton, Marchwood Industrial Estate and WIlliments Industrial Estate. 20 Units and 20 Trailers at each.

The O-Licence was revoked - OH1124028

One director listed on Vehicle Operator License check, SARAH CAROLINE COOMBER. Both Ms Coomber and Bloomberg Financial listed as directors on companies house, I guess Bloomberg are the administrators.

No other Operators Licences at either address associated with S G Movements Limited.

So we have a succession of names recruiting drivers for trucks they don’t have permission to run, in locations they have never been associated with. My guess is a data gathering scam for ID theft. After all, most CVs or Job sites will request current address, DOB, full name etc. That’s enough info to find someone on facebook, where Mothers details or pets names can be found, same with first school etc. Everything you need to steal someones ID and take out much credit in their name.

Cheers for the heads up I applied for the job out of Leeds nice 1 :open_mouth:

I’d be checking on my credit file if I were you. Just to be safe.

Reported this to Indeed, we’ll see what their response is

Same company

Wonder what became of Red Russet transport who i briefly became entangled with years ago,ran by a welsh jimmy saville lookalike who ran it like he was still back in the tank corps from which the red russet name was appropriated.2 weeks of farce and surrealist adventures that had me approaching baliffs to get the wage i was owed.Didn’t get it though, the experience was so appalling i cut and ran for fear of my sanity.
Bridgewater based.Would be curious to know what became of them, moreover did they get the crucifixion they so richly deserved?

Is Transcom in Croydon, Surrey the same outfit? Seems an unusual place to have a container haulage company – no railhead and miles from any seaport.

Example: indeed.co.uk/cmp/Transcom-H … HGV+Driver

Same company - be aware

£550 take home, INCLUDING NIGHTS OUT…

Mind you, the way they (allegedly ) have a tendency of not paying, they could advertise £1000 take home a week… :stuck_out_tongue:

How can they possibly work out take home pay anyway with varying tax codes??

UK tax codes are much simpler now than they used to be.
Basically its £11500 tax free for everyone. "Marriage allowance" is a means of transferring some of one partners allowance to the other, and its only useful if the lower paid earns less than £11500p.a. It could make a difference at year end of a max of £230 to the couple. So theres a possible difference of only a fiver a week. This is outside of any emergency codes.
