I’m interested in getting one of those myself.

that aerial is almost 20 years old - I bought it the first year I was driving and it has been on just about every truck I’ve driven . its a Sirio aerial and the lettering /branding on it is in red . I can’t find a similar one anywhere - its either been discontinued or updated. the closest I can find is this one -
Sirio Omega 27 High Performance 5/8 wave CB Radio Antenna Aerial Only
but I’m not saying it is exactly the same.
The adapter I used was this one -
DV Antenna Adaptor for Volvo FH-4 | THUNDERPOLE

Thanks Beefy, I’ll take a look at the links you’ve posted.

Already have a CB fitted, but Volvo’s own aerial isn’t of the best quality.

no problem - happy to help . Was the fitter tidy - did he / she tape the 12 volt lead to the coax ?

Was taped together,all nicely, only just enough coax to reach the slot under the centre box, you can never have it long enough.

Hi all sorry to bring an old thread back up I have just found the cb cables in the cab but which aerial point is it on the roof I have 2 on the n/s that don’t look used looks like the radio aerial is on the o/s
