He did a lot of work for Christie Tyler iirc. I stopped there myself back in the day.

Lancaster Services, On a Sunday afternoon it would become the distribution centre for Christie Tyler and other furniture drivers heading north of the border, we would all tip out and share amongst each other so that we wouldn’t be following each other around Scotland, especially Aberdeen, Inverness, Elgin, Peterhead etc… meet up in Leigh on a Tuesday night to swap all the paperwork back before heading for home Wednesday and turn around back north! Probably saved a shed load of fuel between us all!

Taken up in cullimores today ,complete rebuild by the owner Mike ,two steel pipes on the back really throaty sound the chassis is a tractor unit which he used he builds trucks from scratch he got scania parts if anyone interested (rowly) I got his number so pm me I will give it to you

Hi Andrew it did sound a bit deep but you never know it could of been a noisy L10 so a waste of a good photo if I’d have known it was PROPER I’d definitely had gone round ,why are they clearing out ? Looks like I was too late then cheers Dan .

Checked earlier with the owners son,it is a 525.Afaiaa,the whole site is to be cleared.This beautiful piece of South Wales haulage nostalgia was found there…
