Erf, it’s a UNIC “Izoard” with the first V8 engine developing 225 cv, later in end 1966 with Saurer injection it 'll develop 270 cv.
I own one similar lorry with a crane.

Nice detail! Robert
Thoughts anyone…?
That bonneted Iveco looks unusual indeed Senior! If I’m not mistaken there’s a Iveco dealership somewhere in the south of Holland that does conversions like that, never saw one in the flesh though…

Ey up Tim,
Reckon Davidoff, Froggy55 or Michel on here can push you in the right direction regarding your Saviem. Got a pic of the old girl perchance…?
Cheers, Patrick

The photo of the SCAL plane which I presume is Silver City Air Lines ,I remember when I was at school near Hurn Airport (now Bournemouth International )those flying low over the school to land at the airport, I think they did a Hurn -Jersey service, I am sure my old school friend Dispatcher remembers them also.
pv83…I think that this Riva-Bella, Calvados picture is where the River Orne and
the Caen Canal meet the English Channel at Oiustreham in Normandy. It is near
to this location that Brittany Ferries has operated its Cross Channel service to
Portsmouth since 1986. It is also the start of Sword Beach, where the allies began
to come ashore on June 6th 1944. Have a look at the NORMANDIE-Brittany Ferries
thread here on “Old Time Lorries”. Kind Regards, Ray Smyth.

Sorry, but there’s a mistake on Pic2. Cosne sur Loire is in the Nièvre Département (not Indre). The building behind the Leyland Cub is the townhall where my parents married in September 1954!

La Belle France has had a habit of realigning the boundaries of its “departements” (sorry, too complicated to use accents on my keyboard) over the years. Could this be the case here Froggy?
