As we say in French: “c’est marqué dessus, comme pour le Port-Salut”. The Port-Salut being a tasteless cheese with its name in big letters on a sticker. ALM stands for “Ateliers Legueux Meaux”, and still exists, though it’s now named ACMAT and produces army vehicles.

Well, whoever it was, he surely has got a proper hair style…

Everything under control mate, hope you and your loved ones are doing well. Is the whole “mob”… er… family coming over again in June?

Cheers, Patrick

Hi Patrick

They are all looking forward to it,I’ll have a word with Senior and try and get Pete Smith over this year.

Regards
Richard

Pete’s been “sighted” already Richard, apparently he’s giving each and every pub in the Parisian area a thorough investigation…

Cheers for the info Froggy  About that Port-Salut… I’ve had tea on some occasion with some drivers, and they were all looking forward to the Port-Salut for some reason… Or maybe it had to do something with Port… Can’t quite remember what the fuzz was all about… Orangina anyone…?

This looks like a proper piece of kit…

Found some more in the Pegaso archives…

Based upon a military DAF chassis

A brand new Willème cattle carrier with a Cottard cab, probably at a Truck Show.

Good morning Patrick.

What a pleasant surprise to wake to a Pegaso morning! Thank you mate. So I hope I might be forgiven if I add a couple of pictures of the 1105 that I restored when I lived in Spain.

As I brought her.

Using all the tools.

Nearly finished, waiting for the new tilt and some back mudguards.

At her first show.

Definitely photoshopped! Wheels on axles 2 & 3 are absolutely identical.

Well spotted. It still looks the business, though. This week’s challenge is to find a photograph of a real triple steer lorry. I bet there are none.
