I’m new to driving lorrys.
Today about 10 mins from my yard my tacho flashed up saying driving 4.15 and the other side had like a pause then 15.
Am I understanding this correct that. I have been driving for 4.15 hours and need a break in 15 mins for 30 mins?

Pretty much, yes.
You’d 15 minutes of driving time left available before you were required to have taken a total of 45 minutes break.
45 minute break can be split in to two parts of not less than 15 minutes and 30 minutes.
