I was thinking that, I’ve seen them roll off by accident on to soft earth on a building site and crack on impact.

Should have been on cradles.
Stand trailers loaded at our customers,are dragged all over the yard by tug drivers…without strapping them.
Can’t, see the driver going into a pub saying just fallen off the back of a lorry want to buy them.
I did a day at a firm in Wolverhampton whose main work was these sewage pipes ,The straps they had were in dire condition, so I left .I bet it was them…
