I just can't get her to squirt

It eats into the clearcoat and stains it. Compounding it does no good either, the paintwork will be irreparably damaged…

We have 1000 litre of undiluted screen wash and that freezes up quite a lot in the really cold weather.

In my car I use Halfords Berry scented stuff which very rarely freezes up. It’s frozen an odd time or two but usually it’s spot on.

Just tip a bottle of meths in the washer bottle, unless it’s cold then drink it.

Depending on what I’m driving I put a qty of aftershave in the bottle. Never had a problem with my pipe being froze.

Old Skool.

Don’t put anti-freeze in your washer bottle. It is nearly as good as a paint stripper as brake fluid!

And it kills cats, although if the cat is already splattered across the screen it might be academic.

Splash it on…

Suppose it’s a decent use for Brut/Old Spice/Hi Karate etc lol

Might squirt Lynx in mine then if I run a fit young bird over I can just blame the Lynx effect for her being attracted to my windscreen

I’ve never understood why they aren’t heated… cost probably. Plus I guess it wouldn’t stop the nozzles from freezing.

I’ve got heated washer jets on my Mondeo. They weren’t frozen last night even though it was -7C.

I’ve got heated jets in my 17 year old Mercedes rustbucket car. Why haven’t I got them on my £90k Actros? :imp:

I’ve got an 18 year old BMW 735i, heated washer nozzles (and I’m assuming headlamp washers because they worked at -5 this morning ) heated front seats and even a heated steering wheel - the idea of which I scoffed at when I discovered it had one until the mornings got cold, it’s fantastic - also the BMW’s washer pipes are in the bonnet so get heated by the engine yet my 17 plate Scania’s washers have been frozen all week (despite adding 5l of concentrated screen wash on Monday)

Thanks everyone for your top tips.

Managed a little squirt this morning but frozen up again now.

Yesterday I was on a particularly dirty job and things where getting very hairy indeed, praying for a bit of wetness I found constant dry rubbing did the trick in the end but may have worn out me rubbers.

Even tried spitting on the holes but to no avail unfortunately.

Bit pricey though!

Your firm must be buying some rubbish. Once I got the washers thawed out yesterday (summer mix from dealers) I filled up with concentrate and had no problems. I used the berry stuff last year when it never got tested and again this year and it hasn’t frozen.

I know from past experience it’s a bloody struggle to get a lot of firms to supply screenwash. It would just make the Actros too dear, have to stop somewhere! :grimacing:

:open_mouth: :open_mouth: It’s getting better by the minute Dipper !!!

Dipper,
Do as normal and give a good warm tongue lashing, that should stop the frostiness and she’s bound to squirt then !

I’ve been pouring a tad of my hot tea out my thermos on em through the day.

I buy the 50 litre drums from MAN for 12 quid , put it in neat and good down to -25c she.s been squirting no bother all week

I thought this thread was about Vaginismus so emailed this to Doctor Dipper Dave.
Dear Doctor , my wife has a fear of a frosty penetration, please can you pay for her trip to Thailand for treatment and therapy at your private clinics in Bangcock.
I hear many have been cured by squirting out ping pong balls.
I have posted your deposit check to your office at Me Love You Long Time For Ten Dolla.com

Just borrow the bottle of meths from a vagrant laying in the shop doorway and pour some into the washer bottle, this should ensure she never freezes up again

Bullys!!! Really…
This is a serious thread about squirters, extremely useful to pro drivers who’s holes have become dried up/blocked.
