I’ve filled up twice this past week with my credit card at 115.75ppl (138.9 inc vat), one of which was at a Morrisons where I also had a 6ppl discount voucher from when I did my shopping last weekend so effectively I was only paying 110.75ppl+VAT for those 250 litres. Plus on top of that I got points on my Morrisons Miles card that work out to be worth 1.25ppl+VAT per litre and cashback on my credit card. It’s at times like that I wish I had more than a 300l tank…

The Fuelcard Company this week sent me a bill for £15 because of non use of account. I rang and queried this and the salesman said it is in the terms and conditions of the contract. After an argument where I pointed out that I wish that I could charge all of my customers of my business who hadn’t used my services for the last 3 months £15 I told him that I no longer wished to deal with his company. The bl**dy bandits
The big change this week is that my Total card has been replaced by a Shell card with a corresponding jump in price. This is, apparently, due to Total having sold out in this country. If they think I’ll be using the Shell card they sent me at that price then they can think again!

No longer have any cards from fuelcard company, the £15 under usage fee then a letter other week wanting £3.75 per invoice, told them to stick it, and canceled the dd. They have no reason to be competive charge whether use them or not.

I just canceled my cards with the fuelcard co. aswell due to their high prices. I still swear by my fuelgenie card… Used only at morrisons or tesco and this week 5ppl cheaper than fuelcard co. Also you can use your vouchers, at min its 10ppl off when you spend £60 or more in tesco… Fair point there is a 100L limit but its still a tenner cheaper…
I dont know why , Im told buy a pal of mine who has an oil business that we only get 1 percent of the oil we use from Iran, So as far as I can see its just another excuse to rip the hauliers off once again.
