As a farmer I’m exempt under the following.

vehicles that are used to carry live animals between a farm and a market, or from a market to a slaughterhouse where the distance is less than 50km

What do I do regards the tachograph?

That’s the whole guide.
Firstly check you are exempt from EU Tacho rules. It sounds as if you are. Then look at GB Domestic rules. It is possible you are exempt from them too. (Less than 4 hrs driving per day)
Assuming you do come under Domestic rules then you need to keep a record of your driving duties.
Basically 10hrs max drive, 11hr max duty and 16hr spreadover per day. You can use a log-book or can use a tachograph.
If you have an old vehicle with a disc, put in a plastic blank to avoid damaging the tacho. Need vehicles with digital tachos can be set to “Out of Scope” in the menu to stop them flashing warnings.

Thanks,yes have digital tachograph.

So It’s keep a diary or use the tachograph? Probably easier using the tachograph as no way I’ll exceed 4 hrs.
